About Cody Funkhouser, MD

Dr. Funkhouser is a dermatologist who earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, graduating cum laude and earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society. 

He completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Chicago, followed by dermatology residency at the University of Chicago, where he served as a Chief Resident. Raised in New Jersey, he earned his Bachelor of Arts from Colby College and completed a Master’s in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University prior to medical school.

Dr. Funkhouser has authored and co-authored several articles in dermatology journals and enjoys caring for patients across the full spectrum of skin conditions, with a particular focus on general and medical dermatology. He is committed to providing personalized, thoughtful care and ensuring every patient feels heard, informed, and supported in their skin health.

Outside of work, Dr. Funkhouser enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, playing soccer, and staying active.
